Encrypt PDF Files

Let’s say you’ve created an awesome document.  You may need to apply encryption to prevent certain types of access by others..

The previous blog discussed how to open and edit a PDF in Word 2013. This blog is a follow-up that shows how to encrypt a PDF to prevent others from opening/editing in a program and or restrict printing or copying of images/content.

Click here to learn how to encrypt a PDF using Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro version XI. If you have an older version of Acrobat, the steps may be slightly different. If you use Nuance Enterprise or Nuance PDF Converter, or another program to encrypt PDF files; please refer to training material to encrypt your files.
