Jenna Carlson

Jenna joined the iTeam at USD in April 2017

Jenna is an Instructional Support Analyst on the iTeam. Her mission is to successfully guide faculty through the implementation and use of technology in their courses. Jenna’s professional experience includes online course design with a strong integration of engaging technologies, as well as advising faculty/SMEs of best practices for teaching with technology onsite and online. Jenna has seven years of experience supporting LMS like Blackboard, eCollege, Moodle, and Canvas. After earning a Masters degree in Educational and Instructional Technology in 2017, Jenna looks forward to providing excellent support to any faculty in need of a technology solution. The foundation of Jenna’s knowledge is rooted in Graphic Design, Web Design, and Usability, all of which have paved the way to becoming an integral part of the iTeam at USD. Jenna received her first Bachelor’s degree in Web Design in 2009, and a second Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication in 2015. The practical application of all her skills are something she is excited to share with the USD community.

Jenna believes that technology can positively impact students of the 21st century, and looks forward to partnering with all faculty who are driven to enhance their coursework.
